This is my dog, Malcolm.
My dog is great, except that whenever I want to snuggle up and cuddle with him, like, say, at bedtime or while I’m reading a book on the sofa, or when we’re home alone and the kids are out somewhere with their friends, this is his reaction:
Every. Single. Time.
But if, say, if I’m in the bathroom? Needing some alone time?
So basically… your dog is a cat?
My cat totally does this. I think we can confirm her “dog” is a cat. SURE YOU’RE A DOG, MALCOLM. YOU KEEP TELLING YOURSELF THAT.
I’m pretty sure we have the same dog. Did yours ALSO eat a Christmas gift today because you left him and your kid with your mom for an hour to get your hair cut and he got pissed when she took a phone call and wasn’t giving him her undivided attention?
(Luckily, he just ate the wrapping. If the call had lasted another 30 seconds though, I’d be having to replace a DVD.)

I have two dogs – one will cuddle, whenever, but will only ever cuddle in a way that it’s truly uncomfortable for the human cuddler. The other dog, well, he’ll only ever cuddle when it’s truly inconvenient for the human cuddler.
Basically dogs are assholes.
